Arbor Hall is located in the south area of the Mississippi State University campus. This was the construction of 2 new buildings adding a surplus of 400 residency rooms to accommodate new students. The storefront and curtainwall systems and sunshades were provided by Tubelite. The Owner, Contractors and Subcontractors worked closely together and within a very small time window to complete this project in budget and before the fall semester. These buildings feature 12 4- story continuous curtainwall systems with sunshades at each floor. This allows for an abundance of interior lighting and overall pleasurable aesthetics. The glazing for these buildings is a high performance low e glass that allows for an energy efficient facility. In addition one building features a 3- story curtain wall system with the appearance of being freestanding. This also adds to the monumental appearance of these new residency halls. This was an overall successful project and much appreciation is due to all involved.
